Tainted baby food has everyone in Colorado Springs desperate to find the monster responsible for such a wave of evil. Having exhausted every lead, the police turn to Batelle who races the clock to accomplish the seemingly impossible. Marvin Stottlemire is the Narrator who keeps the story moving. Jeff Evans plays Police Detective Alan Nelson. Featured Mojave Beach Players Diane Wurzer, Mike Mathewson, Darlene Smith-Ash and Chuck Mosley round out the cast. Larry Irion and Internet radio personality Jack Diamond are opening and closing announcers. The score was composed and performed by Fesliyan Studios, sound effects by Zapsplat. Director Esther Luttrell adapted the Dennis Smirl short story for audio and co-produced with executive-in-charge-of-post-production, Patrick McGranahan.

Chuck Fresh is convincing as Robertson threading his way through one murder after another in the bitter cold of an isolated village. Based on a short story by Ian Hall, a cast of Mojave Beach Players turn in masterful performances against a backdrop of breathtaking, heart-pounding, music by Tchaikovsky.

Bill Duggart needs legal advice and calls on his old friend Sid who dropped out of law school just short of a degree. Not that it matters. In this case. According to Bill, three men attempted to rob him. When weapons were drawn, Bill gunned his pickup and drove straight into them, killing at least one. Except—there’s no dead body anywhere to be found. This entertaining, light-weight mystery features excellent music from David Fesliyan Studios (www.fesliyanstudios.com) with sound effects provided by Zapsplat. Follow Sid (Patrick McGranahan) and Bill (Dennis Smirl) as they attempt to unravel the dark secrets of Lightning Creek. Smirl also wrote the story, McGranahan produced, Esther Luttrell directed.

Esther Luttrell shares this chilling story as if she’s confiding in her best friend, which draws the listener in on an almost intimate level. After more than twenty years, her husband walks off yet maintains a friendly attitude. If you can call attempted murder “friendly”. Esther’s question, “Who do we ever really know?”, is asked with a touch of irony. The story is enhanced by a Hitchcock-like score composed and performed by David Renda of Fesliyan Studios.
