Based on an original story by Lee Gramling. Stars Al Dunnaway as Sheriff Sam Brookes, who is brought to Colterville to establish law and order. What he finds are ruthless cut-throats and a woman who changes his life forever. A wonderful through-back to the days of John Wayne and Sheriff Dillon. For those who remember “Gunsmoke” and Wayne movies, and those who never had the pleasure. A snapshot of the old west brought to life by a great cast of actors, and a remarkable score by Buddy Reeves.
