This sci-fact, thought-provoking audio drama is adapted from a short story written by New Zealand award-winning writer Deryn Pittar, and told by Esther Luttrell. The fashion industry is always looking for something new; a cloth to surprise the world and delight the wearer, a fabric that handles and drapes with style and elegance. Jessica hopes their latest creation will save the family’s fashion business. Their researchers have created a ‘thinking thread’ and a walk in the rain was intended to test its capabilities. What no one anticipated was for artificial intelligence to have a will of its own. From Mojave Beach Productions’ Saratoga Theater. Music credits and appreciation to Fesliyan Studios and Pixabay.
